Simple Stain Spray.
Essential Oils have changed how we approach our health and wellbeing. They have up-leveled how we clean our home, what we use on our skin, what we wash our clothes with, what is in our first aid kit - how we ‘do’ products around our home and for our health.
We have switched our laundry cupboard to be completely non-toxic. That includes ditching the Napisan stain remover spray and opting for a DIY option. Here’s how:In a 500ml Glass Spray Bottle (I get mine from The Conscious Life Co.) add:
2 tablespoons On Guard Cleaner Concentrate
20 drops Lemon Essential Oil
1 cup white vinegar
Top with filtered water
Shake well to combine before each use.

The Ultimate Teething Blend.
Depending on the age of babe will depend on the dilution. But the best place to start is with one drop of each oil. Add to a 10ml roller bottle and top with Fractionated Coconut Oil.
Frankincense
Lavender
Copaiba
Roman Chamomile
Clove
Roll along babe’s jawline and behind their eyes. Use this in place of Bonjela and other teething gels.

Lush Skin Serum.
If you’re going to make a swap in your skin routine - make it this one. Not only can you avoid the myriad of toxins lurking in your skin care, but it will save you so many $$ you’ll be mind-blown. All you need is a top quality carrier oil that suits your skin type (check out the range on the Conscious Life Co.’s website!) and some essential oils - maybe some dried petals and your done. Here’s what I do:
To a large jar add your organic carrier of choice. I love Jojoba for my skin. And I add 1-2 tablespoons of organic Calendula leaves to infuse the oil with it’s healing benefits. When I’m ready to make my serum, i get a 30ml glass serum bottle and fill it 3/4 full with the calendula-infused jojoba before adding 1 teaspoon of Vitamin E oil and my essential oils.
I add 30 drops of a mix of any of the following dōTERRA essential oils: Blue Tansy, Yarrow Pom, Frankincense, Lavender, Myrrh, Hawaiian Sandalwood, Salubelle, Rose or Geranium.
Voila! You have a luxey, high-end Skin Serum at a FRACTION of the price (and no toxins in sight!) -
DIY Soft Scrub.

1 cup Sodium Bicarbonate1 tbsp On Guard Cleaner Concentrate
Dash of Water
10 drops Essential Oils (I love alternating between Lemon, Tea Tree, On Guard, Clove, Lemon Eucalyptus and Purify).

My FAVE Nipple Balm recipe.
It’s no surprise (or maybe it is) 😬 that our girls get a bit smashed in those first few weeks of breastfeeding.
Years ago I bought allllllll the creams from the chemist (and tbh nothing really helped) - but when Sonny came along I had just joined the low-tox train and whipped up this DIY instead. It was incredible.
Natural, organic and HEALING 🌟 not to mention cheap as chips and so simple to make. What more could you want, honestly?!
To a small glass jar add:
2 teaspoons organic Shea Butter
1 teaspoon organic Beeswax Pellets
2 teaspoons organic Coconut Oil
Melt down using the double boiler method. Take it off the heat to cool completely before adding:
2 teaspoons of an organic carrier oil (I use calendula-infused jojoba) and dōTERRA essential oils. I added:
5 drops Geranium
5 drops Helichrysum
5 drops Hawaiian Sandalwood
Stir reeeeeeally well then pop it in the freezer to set. It’ll be ready to use after an hour!

Baby Wipes.
Grab yourself a 2.35L Sistema Container (or something similar!) and to that add:
1 and 3/4 cups of filtered water (the sweet spot for the moistness of the wipe in my opinion)
2x tbsps (2x squirts) of Castile Soap
A dash (1 tbsp) of Fractionated Coconut Oil
2-4 drops each of dōTERRA Lavender and Tea Tree
(dilute depending on age!)
Mix it all together, before grabbing your paper towel.
I use a full roll of VIVA Select-a-size and pull out the cardboard middle before squashing down into the container and letting the liquid absorb.
Done!
